First time at the FMB trade fair

From 3-5 November 2010, the company participated for the first time in the FMB trade fair for suppliers in the machinery manufacturing industry.

Management handed down to second generation

Konrad Rump appointed his son-in-law Marcel Adriano new managing director with effect from 1 July 2010. Also on 1 July 2010, Heinz Neise was appointed a new authorised officer of the company, heading up the sales division.

First representative in the Czech Republic

Company founder turns 70

In January 2009, company founder and managing director Konrad Rump celebrated his 70th birthday.

1,000 square metres more production area

Konrad Rump Oberflächentechnik GmbH Co KG brings its fourth building into operation. Now there are 4,000 square metres of production area.

We are optimally prepared for our future growth thanks to ERP migration and thorough redesign of all of our processes.

and ...too small

The third relocation brought the company to the Berglar business park. The first phase of construction gave rise to an administrative building with two office spaces of 1,000 square metres each, 500 square metres of warehousing space and 1,000 square metres of production space.

Relocation

We continued to reap the rewards of our success. The seven-year-old company moved to the Breite Werl business park in Salzkotten. A manufacturing area, a warehouse and electrical planning increased production intensity.

A move

After just three years, the space had been used up. The company moved to Oelweg street in Salzkotten, occupying a full floor comprising several offices.

Foundation of the company

The company was founded on 1 March 1969. To begin with, design work was carried out in a private house in von-Sobbe street in Salzkotten.
